The Ridge at Northlake, the highly sought-after residential community located near the Town of Northlake in Denton County, TX, is enjoying incredible sales success, opened their beautiful amenity complex in spring 2021, and is welcoming new residents daily.

“This is an exciting time for The Ridge as we watch the community truly come alive,” said Phillip Thompson, vice president of land acquisition and development for Taylor Morrison Dallas and managing partner. “We have had great success during the first phase of property releases and are working quickly on our next phase of homesites scheduled for release in early 2022.”

“We are also happy with the response to the opening of our beautiful main amenity complex,” said Thompson. “The unique and exciting complex is conveniently located within easy walking distance to most homes in the first phase of The Ridge.”

The focal point of the 4+ acre amenity is a magnificent resort-style pool with relaxing lounge areas and a children’s splash pad. Overlooking the pool area is the activity complex that includes fitness centers for both aerobics and traditional exercise and a cross-training area called The Altitude Club. Outside there is a yoga lawn and a first of its kind in the area, challenging Ninja course offering even more fitness fun for the entire family. Younger family members will enjoy The Little Explores Club, a creative indoor play area created to look like a mini town square complete with a supermarket, a veterinarian’s office, a fire station, and more. This area allows children to have hours of fun and social play inside during the warm summer months.

Along with the inside space, there is an outdoor play area that features a mix of play surfaces and unique, mentally stimulating activity stations such as intricate climbing platforms, rope walls, multiple swing sets, and slides. The play area is certified ECHO which stands for Early Childhood Health Outdoors, a certification program whose goal is to provide young children with access to quality outdoor learning environments. It is a partnership between the National Wildlife Federation, North Carolina State University’s Natural Learning Initiative, and Early Childhood Council Leadership Alliance.

The amenity complex also features lush parks, quaint gathering areas, a fire pit, and an expansive event lawn which is a top destination for gatherings, community events, and festivals.

Future phases of The Ridge will include additional amenities, such as an adventure park with unique play structures that young children and teens will find both entertaining and challenging.

Upon completion, The Ridge at Northlake will consist of approximately 1,000 single family homes. Homes range in price from the $400s to mid $700s on homesite sizes of 50’, 60’, and 70’ and are being built by the area’s best builders, including Coventry Homes, Highland Homes, and Taylor Morrison. Models from each builder are open for tours daily by appointment.
